This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Conduct virtual security reviews for endpoints, network security assessments, and technology-related evaluations at PCG branch office locations.
• Assess branch compliance with organizational policies and procedures as part of the branch examination initiative.
• Engage with branch staff to perform virtual inspections of technology equipment used in the branches.
• Collaborate closely with branch examiners to ensure prompt reporting of any identified issues.
• Evaluate third-party vendors and systems to confirm compliance with usage conditions.
• Carry out IT assurance and compliance activities in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze risks related to business objectives and assess the effectiveness of mitigating controls.
• Execute control assurance testing procedures.
• Conduct interviews and virtual walkthroughs, documenting the results thoroughly.
• Prepare working papers and coordinate the collection of audit materials to analyze, test, and evaluate branch controls.
• Communicate findings effectively to business, compliance, and IT stakeholders.
• Advise process owners regarding potential control deficiencies.
• Identify, implement, and maintain processes and tools that support assurance, compliance, and remediation tracking.
• Carry out additional assigned duties and responsibilities.
• Solid background in information security, with a focus on testing both end-user and network controls.
• Excellent organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple examinations at once.
• Proficient in report writing and technical documentation.
• Ability to identify and comprehend issues, challenges, and opportunities while drawing conclusions from data.
• Skilled in effectively conveying information and ideas through various media.
• Capacity to determine courses of action and devise suitable solutions based on available information.
• Up-to-date technical and professional knowledge in relevant fields.
• Ability to foster collaborative relationships.
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to maintain productive client relationships.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the financial services sector, compliance, or risk management, or an equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.
• Preferred information security certifications include CISSP, GCCC, CIA, CISA, Security+, Network+, Linux+, or other SANS certifications.
• No licenses or certifications are mandatory.
