Senior Analyst, Global Supply Chain Planning

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of designing and enhancing analytical tools, planning workflows, dashboards, and system-enabled processes that facilitate decisions related to demand, supply, inventory, and operations.

• Create predictive, prescriptive, and optimization models aimed at forecasting, inventory risk, supply constraints, service performance, and exception detection, employing AI, automation, and self-service solutions to enhance decision-making quality and efficiency.

• Conduct exploratory analysis, root-cause investigations, data validation, feature development, and performance assessment to support business solutions.

• Formulate scenario and simulation models to assess trade-offs across service, cost, inventory, and risk factors.

• Convert supply chain and business challenges into scalable analytical solutions integrated into processes and systems.

• Collaborate with IT, planning, operations, and finance teams to enhance data flows, reporting frameworks, planning system outputs, and analytical tools utilized throughout our planning processes.

• Effectively convey findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, recommendations, and business insights.

• Enhance data quality, metric consistency, and analytical rigor across the planning organization.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, operations research, data science, supply chain, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Over 4 years of experience in data analytics, systems, operations research, industrial engineering, or a similar quantitative position.

• Proficiency in SQL, BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and advanced Excel; familiarity with Python, R, or comparable analytical programming is preferred.

• Strong problem-solving abilities with a knack for transforming ambiguous business inquiries into actionable solutions.

• Experience in working with large, complex datasets and generating clear analytical recommendations and outputs.

• Interest and expertise in AI-enabled workflows and production deployments.

• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts and model outputs to business and executive stakeholders.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong sense of ownership and a builder mentality.

• Preferred qualifications: Background in supply chain, operations, logistics, retail, CPG, and automotive sectors.

• Familiarity with statistical analysis, optimization, anomaly detection, predictive modeling, scenario modeling, or machine learning methodologies.

• Experience in supporting global or multi-regional business operations.
