This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +44 more states.
• Assist in the implementation of customer supply chain strategies for designated accounts, ensuring alignment with sales and inventory objectives.
• Examine intricate datasets (forecast, inventory, shipments, POS) to reveal insights and offer actionable suggestions.
• Confirm forecast precision and proactively recognize risks, making necessary adjustments or recommendations to enhance alignment with demand and seasonality.
• Oversee and manage customer orders, ensuring appropriate quantities and timely product flow to support sales objectives.
• Lead and improve reporting and KPI tracking; identify opportunities for enhancing reporting efficiency and the quality of insights.
• Act as a primary analytical collaborator for ad hoc customer and internal inquiries, providing clear, data-driven insights.
• Manage and optimize promotional allocations at the store level; analyze outcomes and suggest enhancements to maximize sell-through.
• Support the launch of new items and transitions of products (e.g., discontinuations), aiding in waste minimization and improved execution.
• Identify key factors affecting service levels, inventory, and product flow; communicate risks and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal teams (Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, Brand) and external customer partners.
• Offer guidance and informal mentoring to junior analysts; enhance team analytics capabilities and best practices.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and projects aimed at boosting supply chain efficiency and customer performance.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts by refining tools, processes, and methodologies.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience combined with education.
• 2-4 years of experience in sales analytics, supply chain, or customer-focused analytics roles.
• Significant experience working with various data sources (e.g., POS data, shipment data, inventory systems, Nielsen/IRI, Customer Portals).
• Strong understanding of forecasting, inventory management, and replenishment processes is preferred.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including at least intermediate Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups; capability to manipulate and analyze large datasets).
• Proven ability to convert data into clear insights and business recommendations.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
