• Strategizes, develops, and implements Supply Chain initiatives focused on cost efficiency and strategic enhancements within the supply chain.
• Engages in and contributes to annual goal-setting activities.
• Aids in achieving sourcing objectives and overall roadmap performance metrics.
• Evaluates price proposals, financial documents, and various data and information.
• Assesses vendors' capabilities, quality, dependability, and pricing competitiveness.
• Assists in formulating a strategic plan for a specific commodity or key supplier.
• Negotiates and manages contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
• Establishes negotiation terms for the acquisition of goods, services, and supplies.
• Researches suppliers to ensure compliance with the organization’s standards for price, quality, timing, and supply reliability.
• Manages the overall relationship with one or multiple strategic accounts within a specific commodity.
• Oversees the sourcing process from Request for Quotation (RFQ) to contract signing.
• Ensures that suppliers or commodities meet the established Collins standards regarding delivery, quality, and cost.
• Reviews supplier data and price proposals to confirm acceptable pricing, quality, timing, and supply reliability.
• Generally requires a University Degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline.
• The candidate must possess experience in supply chain or a related field.
