
Senior Analyst, Analytics Development – Model Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, validate, and enhance statistical and machine learning models, such as regression and XGBoost, aimed at fraud detection and prevention.
• Create and implement features to boost model performance and reliability.
• Construct tools and frameworks that facilitate scalable model development, assessment, and monitoring.
• Assess model performance and perform comparative analyses across different methodologies.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and evaluate data quality across various datasets.
• Enrich and consolidate data from both internal and external sources.
• Package, deploy, and maintain models within production settings.
• Execute model governance activities, which include validation, documentation, and continuous monitoring.
• Generate reports, visualizations, and summaries to aid in decision-making.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related domain.
• A degree (undergraduate or graduate) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or another quantitative field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficient in Python for data analysis and machine learning, including tools such as PySpark, Polars, NumPy, and Pandas.
• Strong grounding in statistics and best practices in machine learning.
• Experience with regression, XGBoost, and other fundamental ML algorithms.
• Practical experience throughout the entire model lifecycle: data ingestion, exploratory data analysis, modeling, validation, and deployment.
• Experience in creating or supporting tools or pipelines for model development.
• Knowledge of model governance frameworks encompassing validation, monitoring, and documentation.
• Ability to communicate analytical concepts effectively to diverse audiences.
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks, such as Spark.
• Proficient in UNIX/Linux environments and scripting, including Bash.
• Familiarity with object-oriented programming principles.
• Exposure to cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience in debugging or maintaining production systems; familiarity with Java is a plus.
