This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI/ML product features (JobHunt Engine).
• Take complete ownership of the product lifecycle from hypothesis to scaled impact, emphasizing business outcomes rather than merely model performance.
• Convert business challenges into ML hypotheses and actionable solutions.
• Collaborate closely with ML engineers and data scientists to specify data requirements, evaluation frameworks (evals, RAG, agents), model monitoring, and delivery processes.
• Design and implement quick, pragmatic validation cycles.
• Develop clear hypotheses (Problem → Mechanism → Impact → Metric), select appropriate validation methods (A/B testing, shadow models, phased rollouts), and make data-driven go/no-go decisions in the face of uncertainty.
• Utilize critical thinking to dissect complex, ambiguous issues. Eliminate distractions, prioritize what is genuinely important, and create straightforward, effective solutions first.
• Work in close partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and business teams. Convey complex ML concepts clearly and ensure alignment among stakeholders regarding goals, trade-offs, and progress.
• Strong grasp of ML/LLM fundamentals (NLP, recommendation systems, etc.).
• Practical experience in developing and scaling AI-powered features (matching, ranking, personalization).
• Familiarity with contemporary AI/ML concepts: evaluation frameworks, RAG, agents, model monitoring.
• Capability to define data pipelines, metrics, and workflows in collaboration with ML engineering teams.
• Nice to have: practical experience in a Data Science, Data Analyst, or ML Engineer role.
• Over 5 years of experience in a Product Manager position, ideally within a data-intensive or ML-driven sector (HRTech experience is a significant advantage).
• Demonstrated ability to formulate and rigorously evaluate product/ML hypotheses using statistical techniques (A/B testing, significance, confidence intervals).
• Skill in reasoning about probability, causality, and data constraints to make well-informed decisions.
• Entrepreneurial & Hands-on: A "Let's build it" mindset. Capable of creating quick prototypes and testing concepts without excessive engineering. Comfortable with "building with sticks and glue" to facilitate rapid learning.
• Outcome-Oriented: Responsible for the business result, not just the AI model. Practical and willing to simplify or eliminate features that do not drive impact.
• Thrives in Ambiguity: Able to navigate uncertainty, conflicting model outcomes, and noisy data. A structured thinker who can clarify complex situations.
• Communication: Proficient in English and Russian. Excellent communication skills with both technical (Engineers, Data Scientists) and non-technical stakeholders.
