Senior AI/ML Engineer – Technology

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement sophisticated AI/ML models – including fine-tuned LLMs and RAG architectures – for use in internal tools as well as external client-facing products.

• Lead experimentation initiatives: articulate clear hypotheses, design interpretable tests, analyze results thoroughly, and effectively communicate findings.

• Act as the technical subject matter expert for GenAI/LLM-enabled tools, covering everything from foundational architecture to model optimization and deployment.

• Collaborate with software and data engineering teams to operationalize models and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines incorporating MLOps/LLMOps best practices.

• Keep abreast of new methodologies in AI – such as agentic workflows, memory-augmented systems, and multimodal embeddings – and apply these concepts to real-world applications.

• Foster AI adoption within the organization by educating and empowering cross-functional teams while enhancing processes and workflows.

• Manage your time and projects efficiently, ensuring transparent progress updates and proactive communication with collaborators.

• Write production-quality Python code to support models, pipelines, and experimental frameworks.

• Uphold the highest standards of ethics and empathy, acknowledging that AI can pose significant challenges for organizations and individuals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or similar analytics roles.

• Demonstrated experience in deploying machine learning models in production settings, preferably with LLMs or GenAI systems.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Experience working with consumer data, particularly in media, entertainment, or marketing research contexts, is a strong advantage.

• Proficient in modern ML frameworks and GenAI stacks (e.g., LangChain/LlamaIndex, HuggingFace Transformers, OpenAI APIs).

• Experience in building and fine-tuning models using domain-specific datasets, ideally including survey, behavioral, or audience data.

• Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and agentic/multi-step reasoning workflows (e.g., ReAct, AutoGPT, MCP frameworks).

• Comfortable applying MLOps/LLMOps practices: version control, experiment tracking, model deployment, and monitoring.
