Machine Learning Engineer, 3D Geometry, Multimodal AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and enhance machine learning models for AI-driven product functionalities that involve 3D geometry, multimodal AI, and generative AI.

• Construct and sustain scalable data pipelines and machine learning processes for data preparation, model training, evaluation, and inference.

• Handle intricate datasets and representations for the purposes of model training, evaluation, and analysis.

• Design and execute evaluation methods, benchmarks, and experiments to assess model performance, robustness, and quality.

• Collaborate with researchers and engineers to convert experimental concepts into scalable, production-ready product features.

• Develop and manage MLOps workflows that support model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Evaluate model performance, detect failure modes, and implement enhancements to improve model accuracy, reliability, and efficiency.

• Document and communicate technical designs, experimental outcomes, and findings to team members and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 5 years of relevant experience in developing machine learning solutions.

• Familiarity with the entire machine learning lifecycle, including research, data pipelines, model training, evaluation, MLOps, and production deployment.

• Experience in research or experimental settings with changing requirements.

• Proficiency in contemporary deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, Hugging Face).

• Background in computational geometry and 3D data (e.g., meshes, B-Rep models).

• Experience working with complex data representations, including both 2D and 3D geometry.

• Knowledge of version control, reproducibility, and deploying machine learning models.

• Practical experience utilizing modern AI/GenAI tools to enhance software development, experimentation, or machine learning workflows.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
