AI Engineering Intern

• This position is fully remote.

• FlexiSAF stands at the forefront of EdTech, pioneering educational innovation throughout Africa.

• Participants will acquire skills in designing and developing intelligent applications powered by LLMs, utilizing contemporary frameworks such as LangChain, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases.

• The program focuses on hands-on, project-based learning, encompassing the implementation of AI-driven workflows and chatbots, as well as the integration of models into production-ready applications.

• Trainees will also gain insights into Spring Boot for enterprise API integration and containerization to ensure scalable deployments.

• Upon successful completion, participants will be well-prepared to pursue AI Engineering positions in any organization focused on creating intelligent products and systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python programming, particularly in the context of AI/ML.

• Fundamental understanding of LLMs and prompt engineering techniques.

• Familiarity with LangChain or a strong willingness to learn rapidly.

• Basic knowledge of vector databases such as FAISS or Pinecone.

• Understanding of RAG pipelines and embedding concepts.

• Experience in working with APIs (REST, GraphQL).

• Exposure to either frontend or backend development.

• Familiarity with Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong analytical and debugging capabilities.

• Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and frameworks.
