This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, and implement production-quality AI/ML systems for both client-facing and internal applications.
• Convert business requirements into scalable solutions utilizing ML and LLM technologies.
• Lead the design and implementation of scalable ML systems, including supervised, unsupervised, and LLM methodologies.
• Transform research and prototypes into systems ready for production use.
• Identify significant AI/ML opportunities and collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions.
• Offer technical guidance and assist in the skill enhancement of team members.
• Construct and manage LLM pipelines, focusing on prompt design, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
• Create RAG-based systems utilizing embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval methods.
• Design evaluation frameworks, feedback loops, and datasets aimed at enhancing model performance.
• Develop reusable tools for experimentation, deployment, and monitoring tasks.
• Manage the complete ML lifecycle, including data pipelines, training, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement.
• Establish standards for reproducibility, observability, CI/CD, and version control of models.
• Collaborate with platform and DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
• Advocate for responsible AI practices, ensuring governance, fairness, and transparency.
• Spearhead cross-functional projects that involve data engineering, analytics, and AI/ML.
• Simplify complex ML concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to strategize and implement AI/ML solutions.
• Contribute to documentation, frameworks, and best practice sharing.
• Define and lead intricate AI/ML projects that align with business objectives.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, drive project execution, set success metrics, and ensure the delivery of impactful solutions.
• 5–7 years of experience in ML engineering, AI engineering, or related disciplines, with hands-on production deployment experience.
• Strong programming capabilities in Python and SQL.
• Proficient in using PyTorch and HuggingFace.
• Experience in developing LLM applications, including RAG, embeddings, and vector search techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, Azure ML).
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, including data design, training, evaluation, and experimentation methodologies.
• Knowledge of LLM alignment techniques (e.g., SFT, DPO, RL).
• Experience in MLOps practices, including CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, and experiment tracking.
• Proficient in working with complex, multi-source datasets and developing evaluation strategies.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, encompassing testing, modularity, and code review.
• Experience in mentoring engineers and influencing the technical direction of projects.
• Excellent communication skills, able to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be comfortable with extended periods of sitting at a desk while working on a computer.
