AI/ML Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Clean, annotate, and preprocess datasets for supervised learning models.

• Implement basic machine learning models such as logistic regression and decision trees with supervision.

• Generate exploratory data analysis reports.

• Document model experiments using Jupyter notebooks.

• Write and maintain unit-tested machine learning scripts.

• Assist in data cleaning, feature engineering, testing initial machine learning models, and debugging scripts.

• Develop machine learning modules, aid in deployment, support data pipelines, and help with documentation and unit testing.

• Support data preparation and model training under guidance.

• Develop and maintain smaller AI modules, like anomaly detection.

• Assist in deployments and create technical documentation.

• Lead the development of scalable machine learning models and integrate them into ITSM systems.

• Ensure compliance with performance metrics.

• Architect end-to-end AI platforms and supervise cross-domain projects such as NLP for service desks and computer vision for asset tracking.

• Participate in code reviews.

• Build production-grade models.

• Utilize MLflow, Airflow, CI/CD tools, and cloud machine learning services.

• Deploy and monitor models.

• Own comprehensive AI/ML solutions encompassing architecture, training, deployment, and monitoring.

• Apply domain knowledge to enhance model relevance in areas such as IT operations and cybersecurity.

• Understand and implement data engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.

• Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience for senior positions.

• Familiarity with machine learning techniques including regression, classification, and clustering.

• Understanding of deep learning architectures such as CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, and LLMs.

• Knowledge of NLP techniques, including tokenization, BERT, and prompt engineering.

• Understanding of Big Data fundamentals, including Spark and Hadoop.

• Knowledge of model interpretability, AI ethics, and bias detection.

• Familiarity with cloud-native AI services such as AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, and Azure ML.

• Understanding of data governance, security, and ethical AI practices.

• Programming skills in Python and Apps Script.

• Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and HuggingFace.

• Proficiency with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, MLflow, Jupyter, and Postman.

• Data pipeline skills including SQL, Pandas, and data APIs.

• Experience in deployment using Flask/FastAPI, CI/CD, REST APIs, and cloud functions.

• Strong analytical and debugging skills.

• Ability to translate business challenges into AI/ML solutions.

• Capability to convey technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work within Agile or DevOps-based workflows.

• Willingness to stay updated with research and emerging technologies.

• Capacity to manage ambiguity and balance research with delivery.

• Ability to collaborate with globally distributed teams.

• Familiarity with basic ML/DL principles and AI/ML tools such as Jupyter, scikit-learn, or TensorFlow (basic use).
