Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director – Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Manage 1–2 series simultaneously (10–15 episodes per series, approximately 1 minute per episode plus a trailer).

• Collaborate with our in-house AI copilot to ensure character consistency, casting, and trailer production.

• Direct, edit, and finalize each episode independently. You will craft scripts and drive the storytelling process.

• We will provide training in AI Content creation; a strong background in film editing will help you learn quickly.

• Partner with our team of AI Content Creators, the tech team, other Short Film Directors, and our executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years experience in directing or showrunning short-form narrative video.

• Strong instincts for scripting: creating hooks, cliffhangers, and escalating tension minute by minute.

• Familiarity with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance. We will help you become proficient quickly.

• Experience with platforms focused on vertical drama.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented, demonstrating ownership and commitment.

• A proactive mindset - we move quickly and need individuals who can juggle execution, planning, and strategy.

• Passionate about speed, performance, and iteration.

• Humble and open to learning, as well as receptive to feedback.
