Senior AI Vertical Mini-Series Director, Freelance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Manage 1 to 2 series concurrently (10 to 15 episodes per series, approximately 1 minute per episode, plus a trailer).

• Collaborate with our in-house AI copilot for ensuring character consistency, casting, and generating trailers.

• Direct, edit, and finalize each episode independently. You will craft scripts and drive the storytelling process.

• Work closely with our team of AI Content Creators, technical team, fellow Short Film Directors, and executive team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in directing or showrunning short-form narrative video.

• Strong instincts for scripting, including creating hooks, cliffhangers, and managing minute-to-minute escalation.

• Familiarity with AI generation tools such as Runway Gen-4, Sora 2, Kling 3, Veo 3, Pika, Higgsfield, and Seedance.

• Experience with platforms focused on vertical drama.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills (fluent in English).

• Goal-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and commitment.

• A proactive mindset – we move quickly and require individuals who can balance execution, planning, and strategy.

• A strong focus on speed, performance, and iteration.

• Humble and eager to learn, with an openness to feedback.
