Senior AI Transformation Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead client-facing discovery and assessment initiatives, encompassing AI readiness and AI vulnerability evaluation across business, data, and product dimensions.

• Convert assessment insights into executive-level roadmaps featuring phased ROI forecasts.

• Take ownership of the engagement strategy and facilitate weekly steering committees with client and private equity stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the Lead Databricks Architect and Senior AI Engineers for technical scoping and execution.

• Foster trust with client engineering leaders and co-create adoption strategies to ensure new AI capabilities are effectively integrated by those who will manage them — we are united in our goal of achieving shared success.

• Develop leave-behind playbooks, operational frameworks, and reference materials that clients will utilize long after the engagement concludes.

• Assist the Board of Directors in creating repeatable assessment, accelerator, and rollout offerings across the private equity channel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data and AI consulting, with at least 3 years in a senior or managerial client-facing position.

• Proven success in managing enterprise AI programs that link C-level alignment to delivery results.

• Background from Big Four, MBB, or boutique consulting firms, or similar advisory experience within a data/AI-centric organization.

• Proficient understanding of contemporary AI system concepts — including large language models, retrieval-augmented techniques, and agent-based systems — as well as modern data platforms like Databricks and Snowflake; capable of advising on use-case prioritization, build-vs-buy assessments, and the shifting vendor landscape.

• Established change management experience collaborating with client engineering teams, including those that may be skeptical or cautious.

• Skills in ROI modeling, business case development, and executive-level presentations.

• Comfortable contributing to engagement success across delivery quality, client satisfaction, and organic account growth.
