Senior AI Solutions Architect, AWS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions with potential clients to identify business challenges and convert them into implementable ML solutions.

• Develop comprehensive ML architectures and create technical proposals that outline scope, timeline, costs, and resource allocations.

• Prepare and present engaging technical demonstrations and presentations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Assist General Managers in securing new business through exhibiting technical leadership.

• Design agentic AI solutions that utilize autonomous decision-making, tool orchestration, and workflows based on LLM.

• Formulate MCP (Model Context Protocol) integration strategies tailored for client environments.

• Assess and propose suitable agent frameworks (LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, among others) in relation to client use cases.

• Create reference architectures for prevalent agentic patterns, including RAG agents, multi-agent systems, and tool-using agents.

• Develop proof of concept demonstrations highlighting agentic functionalities using AI-assisted development tools.

• Counsel clients on build-versus-buy decisions for agentic components and evaluate AgentOps needs, including monitoring, assessment, and cost efficiency.

• Act as the primary technical liaison throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage the expectations of technical stakeholders and navigate intricate organizational dynamics.

• Establish long-term, trusted advisor relationships with clients.

• Collaborate with delivery teams to guarantee seamless project transitions.

• Provide technical insights during project implementation.

• Contribute to reusable solution patterns, agentic accelerators, and documentation for the Provectus AI toolkit.

• Mentor engineers on effective client communication and solution design.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6–8+ years of proven experience in ML or data science roles.

• A solid history in client-facing technical positions, including leading pre-sales or discovery initiatives.

• A portfolio showcasing successfully architected and delivered ML solutions, with a track record of securing business through technical expertise.

• In-depth understanding of the complete ML lifecycle from data ingestion to production deployment.

• Experience in designing scalable, production-ready ML architectures across various ML domains (RAG, Computer Vision, Time Series, Recommendation Systems, etc.).

• Extensive experience in architecting LLM-based applications, including agentic systems.

• Proficiency in agent design patterns, state management, and orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain agents, multi-agent systems).

• Practical experience with the Claude ecosystem: Claude Code, Claude Agent SDK, and Anthropic's tool ecosystem.

• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) architecture for crafting client integrations.

• Demonstrated use of AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) for swift prototyping and POC development.

• Advanced knowledge of AWS ML and data services, including SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, and ECS.

• Comprehensive understanding of Amazon Bedrock agents, knowledge bases, and model hosting options.

• Experience with serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions) for agentic workflows.

• Knowledge of MLOps, LLMOps, and AgentOps practices, including monitoring, evaluation, and cost optimization.

• Capability to design cost-effective solutions with a clear total cost of ownership analysis and trade-off evaluation.

• Awareness of data security, privacy, and compliance requirements.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
