Senior AI Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Assist in designing the security framework for bunny.net's AI security offerings, including threat models, detection systems, access controls, and enforcement policies aimed at safeguarding clients from AI-era threats.

• Develop essential security features, such as prompt injection detection, secret protection mechanisms, agent auditing, and access enforcement protocols.

• Collaborate with Product and AI leadership to pinpoint the most significant threats and determine future development priorities.

• Create security solutions on bunny.net's global edge network, delivering AI security across a widely distributed platform that operates at a massive scale.

• Contribute to the security of bunny.net's internal AI platform and leverage those insights for customer-facing products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in developing and architecting complex production systems.

• Expertise in application security, infrastructure security, or a combination of both.

• Proficiency in AI-native workflows, meaning you collaborate with AI agents daily and can convert their outputs into production-ready systems.

• Advanced software architecture skills, encompassing considerations of trust boundaries, failure modes, and systemic risks, beyond merely focusing on features.

• Understanding of the failure modes and safety measures related to agent-driven development, along with strategies for their mitigation.

• Comprehensive knowledge of how agents modify the attack surface, including aspects like prompt injection, secret exfiltration, escalation pathways, and insider threat amplification.

• Proven experience in developing security products such as WAFs, API gateways, or threat detection systems.

• Familiarity with utilizing AI and agents to enhance or create production security tools.

• Knowledge of edge computing, CDN infrastructure, or large-scale distributed systems.
