Senior AI SDLC Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Create and develop agentic workflows that streamline the software development lifecycle activities, from code generation and review to testing and release.

• Enhance context-grounding systems to ensure agents retrieve the correct information on the initial attempt.

• Optimize model routing to align tasks with appropriate models while keeping cost efficiency in mind.

• Develop observability and quality tools, including dashboards, usage analytics, and benchmark suites.

• Set internal benchmarks based on real-world tasks such as bug detection, review quality, and latency metrics.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify workflow bottlenecks and create automated, agent-driven functionalities.

• Contribute to the ethical and effective integration of AI across the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend/platform engineering, preferably with production Kubernetes systems.

• Practical experience in building or managing LLM-agent infrastructure, including harnesses, tool-integration protocols, or subagent orchestration.

• Strong grasp of LLM application mechanics, encompassing context windows, prompt design, caching, and reasoning/latency trade-offs.

• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, enhance efficiency, and drive business outcomes.

• Ability to work comfortably with vague and evolving specifications.

• Proficiency in Go and/or Python.

• Experience in developing internal developer platforms, observability tools, or cost/governance dashboards.

• Familiarity with modern AI coding agent frameworks or SDKs.

• Knowledge of graph-based context systems, including knowledge graphs and entity resolution that support LLM applications.

• Experience in instrumenting or optimizing large-scale event pipelines.

• Previous involvement in executing a benchmark-driven optimization program, including A/B testing and Pareto-frontier tracking for a production system.

• Must periodically undergo and successfully complete additional background and fingerprint checks as required by government clients.
