This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.
• Execute assessments related to AI, security, privacy, and data risks throughout the AI lifecycle using structured methodologies (identification, analysis, evaluation, scoring, and treatment).
• Carry out AI impact assessments to evaluate potential effects on individuals, safety, and fundamental rights while aiding in the risk classification of AI systems.
• Recognize and evaluate AI-specific risks (such as bias, explainability, data quality, model behavior) along with identifying control gaps, residual risk, and treatment strategies.
• Apply and assess controls in accordance with internal policies, ISO/IEC 42001, and regulatory standards, ensuring effective risk mitigation.
• Integrate governance requirements into the intake, design, deployment, and monitoring of AI use cases by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Maintain an inventory of AI systems and intake data to facilitate consistent risk assessments and regulatory compliance.
• Generate and uphold traceable, audit-ready documentation that connects risks, controls, decisions, and outcomes.
• Assist in achieving AI conformity and regulatory preparedness, which includes the preparation of documentation and evidence for both internal and external evaluations.
• Continuously observe AI systems for alterations in risk (such as model drift, new data, and evolving usage), prompting reassessment and updates to controls.
• Deliver clear, actionable risk insights and recommendations to technical teams, business stakeholders, and governance bodies.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Prior experience in conducting structured risk assessments, showcasing the use of formal methodologies (risk identification, analysis, evaluation, scoring, treatment).
• Practical experience in performing AI risk and/or AI impact assessments, including the evaluation of organizational, individual, and regulatory risks.
• Proven capability to identify control gaps, assess control effectiveness, and articulate risk treatment and residual risk decisions.
• Familiarity with AI governance and risk frameworks, including ISO/IEC 42001, NIST AI RMF, and ISO/IEC 27001/27005.
• Understanding of concepts from the EU AI Act, including risk classification, high-risk systems, and core regulatory expectations (e.g., transparency, human oversight).
• Experience within a global, regulated setting, with exposure to privacy, data protection, and cross-border compliance requirements.
• Ability to translate technical and regulatory risks into clear, actionable business insights.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally across Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and Business teams.
• Experience in implementing or supporting AI governance programs and lifecycle-based risk management.
• Experience with AI risk classification, impact assessment, or regulatory alignment in relation to the EU AI Act or similar frameworks.
• Proven experience in producing audit-ready documentation and evidence that supports risk, controls, and governance decisions.
• Familiarity with AI-specific risks, including bias, explainability, data quality, model drift, and system robustness.
• Experience in supporting conformity assessment or regulatory readiness initiatives.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 27001, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AIGP).
