Senior AI Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• You will play a key role in developing a cross-platform AI-driven document system that caters to hundreds of thousands of users each month.

• Construct and maintain the foundational cross-platform document system. You'll take ownership of features from conception to deployment, including React frontends, Node.js/Express backends, and PostgreSQL.

• Ship to learn. Take the initiative to implement features, assess their impact, gather user feedback, and refine or discontinue them based on your findings. You view metrics as a guiding tool, not just a performance evaluation.

• Design and manage agentic AI workflows utilizing contemporary frameworks (LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, MCP protocols) and incorporate LLMs into product functionalities through prompt chains, tool invocation, and function execution.

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and leadership to influence the product roadmap. Your input will significantly impact what is developed and the rationale behind it.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation pipelines, connecting them with AI agents, external APIs, webhooks, and cloud services on GCP.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, enabling you to rapidly build and utilize a broad array of libraries as needed.

• 2–5 years of full-stack experience within a high-performing team. You understand how to balance speed and quality, knowing when to prioritize one over the other.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript & React on the frontend (Hooks, Context API, Vite, Shadcn UI) and on the backend (Node.js, Express, REST APIs, PostgreSQL).

• A refined sense of design. You can differentiate between effective and ineffective UX and provide examples to illustrate your perspective.

• You are AI-savvy. You instinctively reach for agents, comprehend MCP and agentic orchestration patterns, and have established guardrails to enhance trust in them.

• Proficiency in Python for quick prototyping is essential.

• You are self-motivated and understand business dynamics. You focus on addressing real challenges and positively impacting metrics, rather than merely delivering features. Provide you with context, and you'll uncover strategic advantages.
