Senior AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of a comprehensive Data & AI platform (using Databricks, AWS, or other technology stacks) from initial concept, through prototyping, to deployment and ongoing monitoring.

• Design and expand company-wide Generative AI capabilities to facilitate domain-specific business AI agents integrated into actual operational workflows.

• Create documentation and offer support to business users for the deployment and management of AI agents at scale.

• Lead investments in platform enhancements such as RAG infrastructure, embedding pipelines, LLM orchestration, and multi-modal data processing.

• Act as a technical mentor and anchor for the wider AI & Data team, elevating the engineering standards throughout the organization.

• Design and integrate AI solutions with both internal systems and external platforms, which include SaaS tools, APIs, data platforms, and enterprise systems.

• Develop and roll out AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and personalization across various business functions, including Customer Support, People/HR, Legal, and Finance.

• Collaborate closely with top-notch engineers, data scientists, and business users in a dynamic environment.

• Implement and scale software engineering best practices, focusing on the reliability, observability, and maintainability of production data & AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.

• Over 10 years of industry experience in software engineering or data platform development.

• At least 3 years of experience managing the development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of web applications and backend APIs.

• 0-1 years of experience in building and deploying production-ready Generative AI solutions, ensuring reliability and performance.

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in managing the AWS platform.

• Strong proficiency in Python and foundational knowledge in AI/ML, especially regarding Generative AI solutions (e.g., LLMs, vector databases, prompt engineering, embeddings, RAG systems).

• Familiarity with AI agent development frameworks and tools (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, LlamaIndex, OpenAI SDK, MCP, A2A).
