Senior AI Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and take ownership of a comprehensive Data & AI platform (using Databricks, AWS, or other technological stacks).

• Design and expand GenAI capabilities across the organization.

• Create documentation and offer support for business users.

• Drive investments in platform areas such as RAG infrastructure.

• Act as a technical guide and mentor for the wider AI & Data team.

• Design and connect AI solutions with existing internal systems.

• Create and implement AI-driven solutions to enhance efficiency throughout business operations.

• Collaborate closely with top-tier engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

• Apply and propagate software engineering excellence.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related Engineering field.

• Over 10 years of professional experience in software engineering or data platform development.

• More than 3 years of experience managing the development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and support of web applications and backend APIs.

• 0-1 year of experience in building and deploying production-ready Generative AI solutions.

• At least 1 year of experience in managing AWS platforms.

• Strong proficiency in Python and foundational AI/ML concepts.

• Experience with frameworks and tools for AI agent development.
