• Conceptualize and develop products that revolutionize how Vanta attracts new business, engages with prospects and customers, and strengthens existing customer relationships.
• Take ownership of the complete product lifecycle: prototype, iterate, launch, and sustain solutions that address real-world challenges for customers and internal workflows.
• Collaborate closely with Vanta’s Chief Revenue Officer and executive leadership to design and implement strategies that position Vanta at the leading edge of GTM organizations utilizing AI.
• Innovatively apply AI and contemporary technologies to systematize and automate GTM workflows (e.g. creating fully agentic Subject Matter Experts and sales representatives).
• Design, create, and maintain internal web applications and AI-driven agents using a combination of frameworks, APIs, and programming languages (Python, TypeScript, SQL).
• Deliver reliable and maintainable systems complete with technical documentation, monitoring, and testing frameworks to ensure usability and visibility.
• Convert insights gained from customer interactions into constructive feedback for product and research teams to guide overall product development.
• Assess and adopt new technologies, orchestration tools, and AI platforms with a clear perspective on 'build vs. buy.'
• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering with a strong emphasis on developing and deploying full-stack applications.
• Proven experience in building products from the ground up, managing uncertainty, and owning outcomes in a dynamic, resource-limited setting.
• Robust technical skill set: proficiency in modern programming languages (Python, TypeScript/JavaScript), familiarity with web frameworks (React, Node.js), and solid SQL capabilities.
• A comprehensive understanding of how AI and automation can be integrated into business workflows: experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or workflow automation tools is highly desirable.
• Experience working in close collaboration with non-technical stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Customer Success) to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver impactful solutions.
• A product-oriented mindset: you prioritize user experience, business impact, and the creation of systems that people enjoy using, rather than just focusing on technical sophistication.
• Proven ability to transition swiftly from prototype to production, make informed trade-offs, and deliver incrementally.
• Strong communication skills with the capability to articulate technical decisions to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Familiarity with GTM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, workflow automation tools like Workato or n8n) or modern data stack tools (Snowflake, dbt) is a plus.
