Senior AI Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and execute production-quality multi-agent AI systems that enhance business workflows.

• Create and manage agent interactions utilizing Azure AI Foundry, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.

• Develop deterministic, auditable, and observable AI workflows featuring effective state management.

• Implement mechanisms for agent routing, handoffs, context propagation, and recovery from failures.

• Design and create MCP-based solutions along with natural language interfaces for enterprise data.

• Develop tools accessible to AI and MCP server components that showcase business capabilities and data sources.

• Integrate AI solutions with Microsoft Fabric lakehouses, warehouses, APIs, and data pipelines.

• Create integrations with DealCloud, BuytheSell, and various other enterprise systems.

• Establish secure and governed access patterns, including RBAC and enterprise security protocols.

• Develop event-driven AI services utilizing Azure Functions, Service Bus, and API Management.

• Set up monitoring, observability, audit trails, and governance controls for AI.

• Define standards for deployment, versioning, rollback, and lifecycle management of AI agents.

• Collaborate with architecture, security, and compliance teams to ensure adherence to enterprise requirements.

• Generate technical documentation, reusable architectures, and materials for knowledge transfer.

• Lead the complete delivery process from solution design to production deployment and handover.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid foundation in Software Engineering, AI Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Proven practical experience in delivering production-quality Agentic AI and LLM-driven solutions.

• Established experience in designing, constructing, and deploying multi-agent AI systems within enterprise settings.

• Extensive knowledge of agent orchestration frameworks such as Azure AI Foundry Agent Service, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or comparable technologies.

• Experience in building AI solutions utilizing Azure OpenAI Service and/or Anthropic Claude models.

• Strong comprehension of agent coordination, state management, context propagation, routing, handoffs, and failure management.

• Practical experience in developing MCP-based solutions and natural language interfaces for enterprise data.

• Extensive experience with Azure services including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Functions, Service Bus, API Management, and App Services.

• Experience in integrating AI solutions with Microsoft Fabric lakehouses, warehouses, and data pipelines.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and message-based workflows.

• Experience in implementing secure and governed AI solutions, including RBAC, VNet integration, private endpoints, and compliance with enterprise standards.

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions.

• Capability to work autonomously in complex and dynamic business environments.

• Experience collaborating with architecture, security, and governance teams.

• Availability for a minimum of 4 hours of overlap with London business hours.
