Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and development of an advanced AI platform.

• Create sophisticated multi-agent AI solutions to address real-world business challenges.

• Take ownership of the AI layer within the platform, designing robust, scalable, production-ready AI systems.

• Emphasize quality, reliability, and security in AI systems.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, architects, and product teams.

• Deliver cutting-edge AI capabilities and shape the technical direction of the AI strategy.

• Develop AI-enhanced applications utilizing TypeScript, Golang, and Python.

• Design and implement multi-agent AI architectures.

• Construct automated LLM evaluation and regression testing frameworks.

• Formulate strategies for agent memory and context management.

• Implement AI safety measures, guardrails, prompt-injection mitigation, observability, and LLM telemetry.

• Mentor and coach colleagues.

• Contribute to the creation of business scenarios.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the UK.

• Extensive commercial experience in developing AI-driven applications.

• Proficient in programming with TypeScript, Golang, and Python.

• Experience in designing and implementing multi-agent AI architectures.

• Advanced skills in prompt engineering.

• Proven experience in building automated LLM evaluation and regression testing frameworks.

• Familiarity with AI quality assurance methodologies – Claude.

• Experience in designing strategies for agent memory and context management.

• Strong understanding of AI safety, guardrails, and prompt injection mitigation techniques.

• Excellent experience in implementing AI observability and LLM telemetry.

• Experience in integrating AI platforms with enterprise systems and APIs.

• Knowledge of cloud-native AI deployments.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.

• Experience with vector databases, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and semantic search.

• Familiarity with cloud AI platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, or Google Vertex AI.

• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Proven track record as a Senior Software Engineer, particularly in media-related projects.

• Strong working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques, and methodologies.

• Experience in providing coaching and mentoring.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to business scenarios.

• Knowledge of software development tools and technologies.

• A flexible and inquisitive approach.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
