Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the complete development process for multi-agent AI systems, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance.

• Create modular, composable agentic systems leveraging orchestration frameworks (LangChain, CrewAI, Anthropic MCP, or similar) that function continuously across teams.

• Design reusable agentic skills that agents can utilize across various interfaces (Slack, dashboards, internal applications, CLIs).

• Establish observability and feedback mechanisms including logging, performance metrics, prompt iteration, model evaluation, and cost management.

• Develop MCP servers, APIs, CLIs, and microservices that connect AI models to business systems (BigQuery, Slack, CRMs, email, calendars, analytics tools).

• Collaborate with RevOps, Demand Generation, Regional Marketing, and SDR teams to define high-impact automation problems, identify bottlenecks, and create solutions with measurable business results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend development, systems integration, or data/analytics engineering.

• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience applying LLMs/AI in production workflows, beyond just prototypes.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/Node.js, along with experience in Git-based workflows, code review practices, and testing methodologies.

• Practical experience with LLM frameworks and patterns, including prompt engineering, RAG, function calling/tool use, structured output parsing, and evaluation.

• Experience in building and managing multi-agent systems at scale, including agent decomposition, orchestration patterns (sequential chains, router/dispatcher, parallel fan-out), state management, and production monitoring.

• Extensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, and serverless/containerized services (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run).

• Demonstrated ability to identify high-leverage problems and deliver complete solutions with minimal guidance.
