This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work closely with the CTO, AI consultant, and development team to create and implement robust, scalable AI/ML architectures.
• Build, train, and sustain AI models, data pipelines, and integrations with APIs, databases, and SaaS platforms.
• Explore new LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, and orchestration frameworks (such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, or similar).
• Spearhead hands-on development and prototyping of LLM-based applications, intelligent agents, and automation workflows.
• Establish AI architecture standards, model governance, and contribute to the long-term AI strategy in partnership with the CTO.
• Collaborate with business and technical leaders to convert strategic AI objectives into actionable engineering tasks.
• Design systems for high availability, scalability, and efficient deployment in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Produce technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and playbooks for the deployment and scaling of AI solutions.
• Engage in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and cultivate a culture of innovation and excellence in AI engineering.
• Remain at the cutting edge of emerging AI frameworks, APIs, and tools, introducing practical innovations to enhance our products and systems.
• A minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in building or designing AI/ML systems is necessary.
• Proficient in Python, C#, or comparable programming languages.
• Practical experience with LLMs, vector databases, embeddings, and prompt orchestration.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, etc.) and cloud ecosystems.
• Experience in developing and integrating data pipelines, APIs, and AI inference services.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with high-level system design and strategic planning.
• A strong desire to keep pace with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and trends.
• Must reside in the USA and be authorized to work there.
