Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and launch production-ready Generative AI and Agentic AI applications utilizing Azure AI Foundry.

• Create agentic workflows by employing agents, tools, skills, orchestration patterns, and enterprise data sources.

• Construct and refine RAG architectures, which include retrieval, grounding, context management, chunking, embeddings, and vector search.

• Design and execute graph-based methodologies and knowledge graphs to improve retrieval and reasoning capabilities.

• Collaborate with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data services to link AI applications with enterprise data.

• Develop and integrate AI agents, tools, skills, and APIs for sophisticated business workflows.

• Implement evaluation frameworks for LLM and agents to assess quality, accuracy, relevance, reliability, and performance.

• Experiment with various models, prompts, retrieval techniques, chunking methods, and agent architectures.

• Create reusable components and patterns for the development of AI applications.

• Work alongside Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Software Engineers, and business stakeholders to convert use cases into scalable AI solutions.

• Diagnose and enhance AI applications in both development and production environments.

• Contribute to architectural decisions, technical documentation, and best engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry — mandatory.

• Practical experience in building Agentic AI or agent-based workflows — mandatory.

• Robust practical experience with RAG architectures — mandatory.

• Experience with graph-based or knowledge graph methodologies — mandatory.

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with chunking and embedding strategies — mandatory.

• Proven experience in developing and working with AI agents, tools, and skills — mandatory.

• Experience with LLM or AI evaluation methods (evals) — mandatory.

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar Azure data platforms — strongly preferred.

• Strong software engineering skills, preferably in Python.

• Experience in integrating LLM applications with APIs, enterprise systems, and data sources.

• Proven record of taking AI prototypes into production.

• Strong understanding of LLM application architecture and contemporary Generative AI patterns.

• Experience in the financial services sector, including banking, lending, insurance, or related fields — a plus.

• Familiarity with Azure-native data and AI services.

• Experience with AI observability, governance, and responsible AI practices.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and cloud-native application development.

• Familiarity with multi-agent architectures.

• Experience with semantic search and vector databases.
