Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• You will create multi-agent workflows, develop system prompts in both Italian and English, and deploy to production daily.

• Grasp the codebase, comprehend how agents collaborate, and understand the process of workflows reaching production.

• Collaborate with Lorenzo on current workflows – troubleshoot bugs, enhance prompts, and incorporate additional steps.

• Deliver your first agent or workflow enhancement to production.

• Design and develop new agents featuring bilingual system prompts and Zod output schemas.

• Connect AI workflows end-to-end: Mastra steps, API routes, and a React frontend with real-time streaming.

• Take ownership of prompt performance in your workflows: measure, optimize, and iterate.

• Architect multi-step pipelines from the ground up (including parallel execution, concurrency control, and error recovery).

• Implement document processing capabilities (PDF, DOCX) with confidence scoring.

• Begin to influence the future of our developments, not just the methodology.

⛳️ Requirements

• More than 5 years of software development experience, particularly with real production AI/LLM (not merely prototypes).

• Proficiency in prompt engineering - focused on structured outputs, chain-of-thought, and multilingual prompts.

• Advanced TypeScript skills (including generics, Zod, and type inference).

• Experience in workflow orchestration - creating multi-step agent pipelines and parallel processing (using Mastra, LangGraph, or similar technologies).

• Full-stack capabilities - able to connect AI to a Next.js API route and stream results to a React hook.

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL and ORM (such as Prisma or similar).

• Native or fluent Italian proficiency, as our AI interacts with Italian customers.

• Strong English skills for documentation, research, and team communication.
