Senior AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and implement machine learning models and AI applications that address intricate business challenges.

• Develop, construct, and sustain AI-driven search, summarization, and chat applications.

• Build or integrate autonomous AI systems that utilize multi-step reasoning, tool-calling, or self-directed workflows.

• Implement information retrieval solutions leveraging vector-based search, relevance ranking, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Create production-ready Python AI applications that are integrated with AWS services.

• Construct and optimize OpenSearch/Elasticsearch indexes for both semantic and keyword search functionalities.

• Assess, refine, and enhance AI models and system performance through systematic experimentation.

• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in IT or software engineering.

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience with AI or machine learning solutions.

• Demonstrated expertise in Python programming.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, SageMaker, Glue, and S3.

• Practical experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch.

• Knowledge of vector databases and vector search methodologies, including embeddings and similarity search.

• Must possess work authorization in the Employing Country without requiring current or future visa sponsorship.

• Virtual interviews are required to be conducted via video.
