Senior AI Context Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Transform raw, structured, and unstructured enterprise information—such as policy documents, brochures, and clinical records—into precise, high-quality context for AI applications.

• Emphasize the quality, semantic structuring, and retrieval precision of data utilized by G.E.H.A’s AI solutions.

• Take ownership of the extraction, document chunking, vector indexing, and RAG retrieval mechanisms that drive G.E.H.A’s AI tools.

• Create data enrichment, retrieval, and evaluation frameworks that guarantee AI agents have swift, secure, and compliant access to business context.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in backend software engineering, applied machine learning/search, or data-centric application development.

• 1 to 2 years of direct experience in optimizing AI and RAG architectures, prompt context strategies, and vector retrieval pipelines for LLM applications.

• Advanced skills in Python and SQL.

• Familiarity with contemporary orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Temporal).

• Extensive experience using parsing frameworks (e.g., LlamaIndex, Unstructured.io, LangChain document loaders).

• Practical experience working with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search platforms (e.g., Pinecone, pgvector, Weaviate, Qdrant, Azure AI Search).

• Knowledge of RAG and LLM context evaluation frameworks (e.g., Ragas, TruLens, Arize Phoenix).

• Hands-on experience managing sensitive healthcare data (PHI/PII) in high-compliance software environments.
