Senior Agency Loan Processor – Multifamily Lending

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Independently coordinate and oversee meetings, property site evaluations, due diligence activities, and essential transaction milestones to facilitate loan originations and underwriting processes.

• Assist in the preparation, examination, and submission of CPC applications, underwriting packages, Agency Multifamily loan processing documentation, and related materials, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and comply with program standards.

• Act as the primary liaison among Underwriters, Analysts, Originators, Agency Multifamily representatives, borrowers, and third-party vendors to advance transactions and proactively address issues.

• Evaluate documentation requirements for new loan originations independently and ensure that all components of the underwriting package are gathered, reviewed, and submitted by set deadlines.

• Oversee and manage outstanding items lists and due diligence tracking, proactively communicating with borrowers, sponsors, and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely submission of necessary documentation.

• Maintain, validate, and reconcile data within agency, company, and loan origination systems, ensuring data integrity throughout the transaction process.

• Collaborate closely with Underwriters and Originators to ensure comprehensive submissions and prepare materials for both internal and external approval processes.

• Organize the ordering, monitoring, and distribution of third-party reports, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any issues that could affect underwriting or closing schedules.

• Stay updated on changes to Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, CPC, and other relevant program requirements, and provide suggestions to improve internal processes and controls.

• Conduct thorough reviews of loan files to verify completeness, identify potential submission issues, and escalate significant concerns as necessary.

• Engage in special projects, process enhancement initiatives, training efforts, and other strategic departmental goals.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience in multifamily real estate finance or loan processing preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, affordable housing, and/or conventional multifamily lending programs, including documentation, underwriting, and closing requirements.

• Proven capability to manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while adhering to deadlines.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, taking charge of processes and guiding transactions from inception to closing with minimal supervision.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and loan origination or underwriting systems.
