
Senior Affiliate Payment Ops Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the entire payment lifecycle from the signed agreement to the distribution of commissions and contractual payments across the affiliate network.
• Act as the main point of contact for affiliates concerning commission or endorsement contracts via video calls, phone calls, text messages, and email.
• Establish trust with affiliates, ensuring audits, follow-ups, and the implementation of new processes.
• Collaborate with Affiliate Managers to confirm the completion of deliverables prior to each payment cycle.
• Provide final approval on payment accuracy in coordination with Revenue Operations.
• Manage and resolve payout disputes, clawbacks, refunds, chargebacks, duplicate accounts, and self-referrals.
• Apply the policies of the affiliate program and agreement terms to make informed payment decisions.
• Develop documented, repeatable payout processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), exception policies, and calculation methodologies.
• Gradually automate manual tasks.
• Work collaboratively across Affiliate, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Legal teams.
• Ensure timely payments and the resolution of disputes within established service level agreements (SLAs).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commissions, partner or affiliate payouts, revenue operations, billing, or finance operations.
• Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets.
• Practical experience with payment or vendor management systems such as RAMP, Bill.com, Tipalti, or similar platforms.
• Strong inclination towards action and accountability.
• Extensive experience managing a commission cycle from start to finish.
• Comfort in engaging in customer-facing discussions regarding finances, including money, delays, prorations, and clawbacks.
• Ability to clarify complex financial scenarios in straightforward language.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct root-cause analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• High level of integrity when handling confidential financial information.
