Senior AEO Strategy Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Integrate with accounts where additional services have been sold (for instance, clients requiring dedicated delivery assistance beyond the fundamental platform).

• Take ownership of specific deliverables from start to finish, including:

• SEO and AEO roadmaps

• Content workflows

• Content audits

• Keyword strategy

• Recommendations for design and structure

• Conduct ongoing engagement calls, align stakeholders, and propel work forward with defined outputs each week.

• Collaborate with Sales during pre-sales discussions where extensive SEO and AEO knowledge is essential for closing deals.

• Alleviate workload on senior strategy team members by independently managing delivery and execution within the established engagement scope.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive, hands-on experience in executing enterprise SEO initiatives, with the capability to convert analysis into clear priorities and roadmap actions.

• You are capable of executing the tasks, not merely discussing them, and possess well-founded opinions that resonate with enterprise marketing, content, and design teams.

• Proven experience managing client-facing deliverables from inception to completion, with a history of delivering tangible results within set timelines.

• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills: leading calls, fostering alignment, and converting ambiguity into clear next actions.

• Comfort in engaging at a senior level. You can delve deeply with practitioners and communicate effectively with leadership when necessary.

• Experience as a senior SEO or AEO strategist at a digital agency catering to enterprise clients (Preferred).

• Background as an in-house Head of SEO or Senior Content Strategist (Preferred).

• Experience in launching or managing AEO programs within an enterprise setting (Preferred).
