This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a PBM Pricing strategy authority for health plan clients, particularly within the ASO-Commercial sector, frequently engaging with client leadership and all levels of our internal organization.
β’ Deliver ongoing consultation to our Health Plan clients in areas such as new business pricing strategies, existing client retention strategies and best practices, consultant feedback loops and interaction roadmaps, competitive intelligence including market dynamics evaluation, pricing optics and bid analysis, PBM contracting and effective RFP response strategies, and various ongoing training initiatives.
β’ Serve as a thought leader within the Health Plan Growth team, equipping our broader team with diverse strategic pricing insights.
β’ Demonstrate a proactive approach by engaging with internal and external partners in Underwriting, Sales, Operations, and Finance to ensure strategic alignment and enhance financial performance.
β’ Quickly grasp new PBM products, programs, and legislative impacts, confidently communicating their value, risks, or opportunities to all stakeholders.
β’ Minimum of 7 years of experience in PBM Pricing/Underwriting or Consulting at a reputable firm is essential.
β’ At least 2 years of client-facing experience, particularly in communicating complex financial analyses, is required.
β’ Deep understanding of PBM industry dynamics, including broker/consultant strategies, market trends and challenges, competitive intelligence, and coalitions, among others.
β’ Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to convey complex challenges in understandable terms, often to individuals with limited backgrounds in pharmacy pricing.
β’ Comfortable making critical decisions with limited or ambiguous information and under tight deadlines.
β’ Creative thinker capable of developing innovative solutions to intricate and nuanced problems.
β’ Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
β’ Detail-oriented and organized, particularly in terms of record keeping and note-taking.
β’ Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in various BI tools such as SQL and BI query.
β’ Proven track record of demonstrating analytical rigor and solving complex business cases.
β’ Strong focus on client service and retention outcomes.
