
Senior Advisor – Email and SMS Marketing Enablement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +2 more states.
• Create and implement advanced email and SMS marketing journeys utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement and Data Cloud.
• Direct segmentation, automation, and personalization strategies that align with business goals.
• Formulate sophisticated data management plans to facilitate personalized marketing, encompassing segmentation automations, reporting frameworks, and performance analytics.
• Activate audience strategies through Salesforce Data Cloud to achieve precise targeting at scale.
• Advocate for consent and preference management initiatives, ensuring adherence to TCPA, CAN-SPAM, and other relevant regulations.
• Establish data hygiene practices and oversee sender reputation by employing tools such as Validity.
• Act as a key stakeholder in enterprise projects, collaborating with Product, IT, and Performance Marketing teams to align marketing solutions with organizational objectives.
• Enable cross-channel testing strategies that yield insights and enhance campaign performance.
• Drive the adoption of new features and technologies throughout the email/SMS marketing stack.
• Offer guidance and feedback to the technical team responsible for implementing new technologies.
• Work with leadership to help define the Email & SMS Marketing Enablement roadmap, pinpointing strategic use cases and innovation opportunities.
• Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder, Content Builder, Mobile Studio, and Einstein functionalities.
• Extensive knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, with hands-on experience in designing and executing audience segmentation strategies.
• Strong grasp of email/SMS marketing best practices, including deliverability enhancement, compliance, and data hygiene maintenance.
• Technical skills in HTML, CSS, SQL, AMPscript, and JSON; experience with API integrations for cross-platform automation.
• Analytical abilities using tools like Adobe Analytics and Tableau to assess KPIs and improve performance.
• Certifications: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist (mandatory); Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant (preferred).
• Experience: Over 6 years in enterprise or agency positions centered on email/SMS marketing strategy, operations, or platform engineering.
