This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +12 more states.
• Oversee daily management and execution of advertising strategies within client digital direct marketing fundraising initiatives, which include search engine marketing, display advertising, social media promotions, and retargeting efforts.
• Create paid advertising campaigns that align with client objectives, while monitoring campaign effectiveness to guarantee optimization and exceptional performance outcomes.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients through consistent communication via email, meetings, presentations, and written reports.
• Coordinate creative services, which involve writing and editing engaging copy, guiding graphic designers, and supervising the production of advertising materials and other creative assets associated with campaigns.
• Formulate and review client budgets, ensuring reconciliation with the Accounting team.
• Assess digital advertising performance by analyzing reports and generating insights that translate metrics into clear recommendations for clients.
• Develop strategies for up-selling and cross-selling services.
• Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the agency’s various resources.
• Enhance the agency’s public profile by attending events, publishing white papers, speaking at workshops, and fostering relationships with leadership in major agencies and organizations.
• Investigate new advertising opportunities while remaining informed about online advertising technologies, trends, and techniques applicable to nonprofit development.
• Engage in new business proposals and presentations.
• Minimum required experience: 7 years.
• Experience in dedicated digital paid advertising roles and/or media planning within the domains of advocacy, fundraising, online marketing, and direct response.
• Required expertise: Proven experience managing the complete spectrum of digital paid advertising.
• Technology-savvy, with a continuous understanding of online fundraising, marketing, and advocacy technologies.
• Proven ability to make data-driven decisions using advertising KPIs through analytics, A/B testing, and dashboards to implement recommendations for ongoing optimization.
• Familiarity with advertising platforms such as Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, and Google Ads.
• Strong grasp of Google Grant management and best practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrated effective utilization of digital tools for managing internal and external workflows and communications (including email, chat, Zoom, and online workflow tools).
• Additional desired experience and knowledge (not mandatory): Understanding of Microsoft Ad for Social Impact Grant and LinkedIn ad grant management best practices.
• Some experience with platforms like Luminate, Salsa, EveryAction, Engaging Networks, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar eCRM systems.
• Familiarity with project management or workflow tools such as ClickUp.
