Senior Advanced Cyber Security Architect/Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive penetration tests across diverse environments.

• Execute penetration testing in software-as-a-service and platform-as-a-service settings.

• Conduct security assessments for AI and machine learning applications.

• Simulate real-world adversarial attack scenarios to evaluate security measures.

• Perform vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and risk analyses.

• Develop and sustain custom exploits, scripts, and tools for testing.

• Carry out social engineering, phishing simulations, and physical security evaluations.

• Architect and establish a robust, scalable penetration testing program.

• Define standards, methodologies, playbooks, and reporting templates for penetration testing.

• Set key performance indicators and metrics for the testing program.

• Act as the main point of contact for all internal and external penetration testing efforts.

• Collaborate with Engineering, DevSecOps, IT, Risk, and Compliance teams.

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors.

• Present findings, risks, and remediation strategies to executive leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of practical experience in penetration testing within enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated ability to build or significantly enhance a penetration testing program.

• Extensive experience in testing software-as-a-service, platform-as-a-service environments, and cloud-native applications.

• In-depth knowledge of OWASP, PTES, NIST 800-115, MITRE ATT&CK, and CVSS frameworks.

• Proven experience in leading and mentoring technical security teams.

• Strong grasp of secure coding practices and integration within the software development lifecycle.

• Experience in drafting detailed, executive-ready penetration test reports.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical findings to non-technical audiences.

• Experience in regulated sectors such as finance, healthcare, or technology is preferred.
