• Support the coaching and mentoring of current team members.
• Collaborate with APM/PM to sustain, enhance, and develop work standards and standardized processes.
• Carry out general administrative duties including managing mail, typing, and maintaining filing systems for the program.
• Process payment requests for patients, pharmacies, and/or physicians.
• Engage in special projects as directed by the APM/PM.
• Provide daily assistance to the APM(s)/PM.
• Aid management with various reports and program-related tasks.
• Collaborate with management to formulate program protocols and standard operating procedures (SOP) for administrative and co-pay operations.
• Partner with management to design and facilitate training for new associates, encompassing aspects such as presenting, shadowing, and call monitoring.
• Coordinate with program managers to ensure co-payment key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to guarantee payment accuracy and adherence to timelines.
• Comply with general company processes and policies.
• Provide telephone support by monitoring the phone line for availability, accurate status, and reporting.
• Attend ongoing refresher training and specialized training courses for specific products, programs, and purposes as deemed appropriate by the manager.
• Maintain clear communication with APM/PM and the program regarding planned and unplanned absences.
• A University Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is an asset.
• At least two (2) years of experience in customer service.
• Experience in the medical, pharmaceutical, and/or insurance industries is a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong skills in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Flexibility in working shifts (operating hours are from 8 am to 8 pm).
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, including effective phone etiquette for diverse audiences, such as internal teams, healthcare professionals, and patients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multi-task to meet various competing deadlines.
• Exhibits a strong work ethic, reliability, and initiative to learn new skills.
• Advanced knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
