Senior Adjuster, Field Service Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Independently oversee field property claims, including those that necessitate outside field investigations.

• Conduct in-depth investigations and generate the necessary documentation.

• Identify and proactively seek opportunities to mitigate risk.

• Maintain thorough and detailed records of claims.

• Investigate and manage suspicious claims employing advanced techniques.

• Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Utilize advanced tools and analytics to detect trends and enhance efficiency.

• Act as a mentor to junior adjusters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in claims handling.

• Generally requires 5–10 years of experience in adjusting.

• Strong understanding of local geography, regulations, and public safety agencies.

• Proficient in negotiation and crafting strategies to influence outcomes.

• Solid working knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and concepts of third-party legal liability.

• Communicates clearly and effectively in both verbal and written forms.

• Highly organized with the capability to manage complex workflows.

• Exhibits excellent time management and desk management skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external experts.

• Capable of swiftly assessing customer concerns and anticipating inquiries.

• Proficient in using claims systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.
