Senior Actuarial Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Support financial analysis, pricing strategies, and risk evaluations to predict outcomes.

• Utilize expertise in mathematics, probability, statistics, finance principles, and business concepts to compute financial results.

• Establish trends and baseline targets through the analysis of data and relevant information.

• Assess and review vendor fees and shared savings incentives.

• Create and execute data reporting.

• Assist in determining a fair basis for vendor contracts.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Medical Economics, Enterprise Partnerships, Network, and Clinical departments, to collect data, verify assumptions, and support ongoing projects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

• A combination of years of experience and the number of actuarial exams passed that totals at least 5 (Rule of 5).

• Background in healthcare.

• Proficiency in Excel, SAS, SQL, Snowflake, and/or Teradata.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring employment-based visa sponsorship at present or in the future.
