πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Create and disseminate regular reports to aid in the calculation of risk adjustment actuarial best estimates and financial reporting.

β€’ Gather and consolidate data from multiple systems to facilitate executive decision-making.

β€’ Conduct research and generate reports and analyses for senior management; effectively convey the results.

β€’ Support the preparation of forecasts and filings related to risk adjustment.

β€’ Develop risk score reporting utilizing Cozeva, internal claims, and Power BI, while organizing and managing extensive and diverse data sets, analyzing healthcare data for decision support, and communicating insights.

β€’ Collaborate with operational teams to analyze, comprehend, modify, and convey models and outcomes.

β€’ Provide recommendations to management based on pertinent findings.

β€’ Leverage Power BI to present relevant reporting within a defined refresh cycle.

β€’ Examine key trends and performance indicators related to clinical programs, provider network performance, various programs or practices, and healthcare providers.

β€’ Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior-level actuarial analysts, including managing priorities for work and projects.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as accounting, engineering, economics, finance, statistics, or mathematics from an accredited institution or a related area.

β€’ At least 5 years of experience working with data and actuarial models.

β€’ A minimum of 5 years of experience with managed care applications such as GE Centricity, Epic, Cerner, etc.

β€’ 5 or more years of experience in the healthcare sector, preferably in a hospital, health plan, or managed care setting.

β€’ At least 5 years of experience in financial modeling for payer and provider negotiations and medical cost management strategies.

β€’ 5 or more years of experience in a rapid cycle, decision support role within a fast-paced environment.
