Senior Acquisition Portfolio Management Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee acquisition portfolios that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.

• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to inform acquisition planning and decision-making processes.

• Provide strategic insights and recommendations regarding acquisition strategies and best practices.

• Manage acquisition plans, requirements documentation, statements of work, and solicitations.

• Identify and address risks associated with acquisitions.

• Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the entire acquisition process.

• Maintain and regularly update acquisition portfolio dashboards and reports.

• Support innovative solutions and strategies in the acquisition space.

• Contribute to the Department of State's Evolve program, a multi-billion-dollar initiative aimed at modernizing IT capabilities for U.S. diplomatic missions globally.

• Acquire and integrate technology services that support cybersecurity, data analysis, climate initiatives, health, and workforce accessibility.

• Cultivate strategic public-private partnerships that deliver transformative IT services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of federal 1102 experience; 10+ years is preferred.

• At least 4 years of experience in IT / Technology Procurement Contracts.

• Extensive experience in Contract Management (1102) and COR support.

• Experience in managing acquisition portfolios and/or providing support to CORs and KOs within an acquisition or procurement office.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Active Secret Clearance is required.

• Preferred: Experience as a U.S. Government Unlimited Warranted Contracting Officer and/or Contracting Specialist.

• Preferred: Expertise in Acquisition Management and Portfolio Management within a major Defense Agency.

• Preferred: Prior experience supporting the Department of State.
