• You are fully accountable for your designated areas, including receivables management, accounts receivable, and monthly VAT submissions.
• You autonomously prepare year-end accounting entries and reconciliations, making a significant impact on the quality of our financial reporting.
• In Accounts Payable, you manage the posting and reconciliation of vendor invoices as well as employee travel expense reports.
• For Accounts Receivable, you take complete ownership, overseeing everything from invoicing in Chargebee to managing open items in NetSuite, along with direct communication with customers regarding invoice inquiries and dunning.
• You perform bank postings and reconciliations efficiently.
• You actively promote the development of processes and standards within the accounting department.
• You engage proactively with both internal and external stakeholders about results, risks, and inquiries related to product billing.
• You possess a degree focused on accounting/finance or have a commercial qualification, such as a tax clerk or industrial clerk, with a certified balance sheet accountant qualification.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in (group) accounting, auditing, or tax consulting.
• You demonstrate excellent accounting knowledge, particularly in accordance with HGB/German GAAP, along with solid expertise in accounting, ERP/ledger systems (preferably Oracle NetSuite), and Excel.
• You work with precision, in an organized and diligent manner, showing perseverance, a strong sense of responsibility, and effective time and self-management skills.
• You communicate clearly and can effectively share your knowledge with others.
• You exhibit a proactive hands-on mentality and maintain a positive attitude towards change and evolving requirements in a dynamic environment.
• You have very good proficiency in the German language, as it is our corporate language.
