Senior Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take a pivotal role in executing and managing a timely and precise monthly closing process.

• Assist in treasury management, oversee cash balances, and collaborate with Finance leadership to identify risks and opportunities concerning cash flow.

• Prepare and facilitate quarterly tax payments and filings, coordinating with external tax advisors as necessary.

• Oversee and generate monthly bank reconciliations, as well as prepare and review accrued expenses and associated schedules.

• Manage prepaid expenses, including their setup, amortization, and reconciliation.

• Conduct month-over-month (MoM) flux/variance analysis and provide supporting explanations.

• Support month-end closing procedures to guarantee timely and accurate reporting.

• Maintain and update accounting documentation, including Notion pages, closing checklists, and process guides.

• Ensure that documentation is precise, audit-ready, and consistently kept up to date.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.

• Prior experience with a Big 4 firm or possession of an active CPA license is preferable.

• 4–7+ years of experience in accounting or finance is required.

• Strong grasp of general accounting principles and finance operations.

• Proven experience in managing key month-end closing processes.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.

• Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.

• Experience in documenting processes and maintaining internal knowledge bases (e.g., Notion; monthly accounting reconciliations).

• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to assist wherever necessary.
