Senior Accounting Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead the FSM staff accountants by planning, directing, and coordinating all accounting operational functions for our clients.

• Take charge of the monthly financial close process, including account reconciliations and general ledger analysis for clients.

• Compile month-end reporting packages that include financial statements and variance analyses for clients.

• Review and ensure the accurate posting of journal entries.

• Oversee and confirm that client general ledger accounts are reconciled accurately.

• Manage back-office finance functions for clients, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and more.

• Evaluate clients’ current account operations, provide recommendations for enhancements, and implement new systems and processes.

• Ensure that deliverables align with the firm’s quality standards.

• Identify and communicate engagement-related matters to clients, managers, and partners.

• Deliver top-tier client service consistently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong grasp of financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.

• In-depth knowledge of cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Familiarity with all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Revenue Recognition (i.e., ASC 606).

• Exceptional technology and systems skills.

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical capabilities.

• Experience in hiring, training, and retaining qualified accounting staff.

• Ability to manage multiple engagements at once.
