Senior Accounting Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Prepare and document routine journal entries, accruals, and adjustments, ensuring all necessary supporting documentation is in place.

• Assist in the monthly closing process, meeting all reporting deadlines.

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of assigned balance sheet accounts and investigate as well as resolve any discrepancies.

• Maintain precise and comprehensive accounting records in accordance with internal policies and relevant accounting standards.

• Generate standard financial reports and supporting schedules.

• Uphold internal controls by ensuring the completeness and accuracy of transactions.

• Aid during external audits by providing requested documentation.

• Contribute to enhancements in systems and processes, including ERP-related initiatives, as required.

• Collaborate with other departments (such as operations, finance, or supply chain) to ensure proper recording of costs and expenses.

• Provide support for ad-hoc projects as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Fundamental understanding of accounting processes and month-end closing procedures.

• Proficient English skills.

• Strong communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of adhering to established processes.

• Ability to manage routine tasks in a dynamic environment while meeting deadlines.

• Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.

• Familiarity with NetSuite is advantageous.

• Experience in managing accounting and reporting for multi-currency entities.
