This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee revenue recognition and manage daily billing operations for both new and existing services.
• Engage in significant collaboration across departments, including Receivables, Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance teams on a daily basis.
• Advocate for change and assist in automation efforts of manual processes to ensure the generation of consistent, timely, and precise invoices and reports.
• Lead and facilitate the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, guaranteeing accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare and document revenue-related journal entries derived from thorough analysis of underlying transactions and supporting information.
• Reconcile sub-ledger activities with general ledger balances, while also investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations and evaluate income statement and budget-to-actual variances.
• Collaborate with both internal and external auditors to assist in audits and ensure compliance with public company reporting standards.
• Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Tax, Financial Operations, Internal Audit, and Legal to support financial reporting and operational initiatives.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of progressive experience in accounting or billing operations, preferably within a SaaS or technology setting.
• Public accounting experience and/or U.S. technical accounting expertise is preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and general ledger accounting procedures.
• Highly analytical with exceptional problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and operate efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate across functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion Cloud and CRM platforms like Salesforce is a plus.
