Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Executes accounts receivable accounting functions such as adjustments, memos, month-end journal entries, and variance analysis.

• Conducts accounting and reporting tasks in alignment with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Ensures that month-end closing and financial reporting deadlines are adhered to.

• Serves as a liaison between the general ledger and corporate accounting teams.

• Prepares standard reporting templates and packages accurately and in a timely manner.

• Provides documentation and assistance to both internal and external auditors.

• Maintains service level agreements and key performance indicators for accounts receivable.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.

• Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.

• Experience in General Accounts Receivable is necessary.

• Strong technical and analytical accounting skills are essential.

• Demonstrated ability in problem-solving and dispute resolution is required.

• A high level of organizational skills, time management, and accountability is expected.
