Senior Accountant II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Execute month-end closing activities, which involve the preparation of general ledger entries and analysis.

• Evaluate period close submissions and support the consolidation of month/quarter-end reporting packages.

• Analyze regional and/or divisional balance sheets and perform bank reconciliations.

• Complete schedules for divisional balance sheets and conduct account reconciliations.

• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and investigate discrepancies.

• Ensure adherence to GAAP, company policies/procedures, and Sarbanes-Oxley guidelines.

• Manage, control, and reconcile accounts that range from moderate to highly complex.

• Provide assistance to divisional management with requests from corporate or executive management on an ad hoc basis.

• Support special projects as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience.

• Solid accounting expertise.

• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills.

• Capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with Oracle is a plus.

• MBA and/or CPA designation preferred.
