Senior Accountant – Business Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Ensure precise lodgement of BAS documents.

• Uphold organized financial records.

• Offer clients straightforward and actionable financial insights.

• Prepare and submit accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).

• Verify that GST and payroll obligations are reconciled and comply with ATO regulations.

• Maintain precise financial records and comprehensive account sets across a client portfolio.

• Supervise accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Collaborate effectively with bookkeeping and tax teams.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.

• Provide payroll assistance and ensure strong communication with clients.

• Manage the client relationship comprehensively, offering answers and guidance.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Accountant in the Australian accounting sector.

• Strong background in client relationship management.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience in preparing corporate tax returns is a significant advantage.
